Already been mate, that was last weekend. Probably won't be back up there for a while either, sorry. The interior is the grey "dotted" type. Seemed in reasonable condition.

You'll need to get new ones, what engine are you running? 1.7 in your signature?

Make sure the floats have sunk though, they should be buoyant in the chamber.

Sounds like carb floats, I had a similar problem although not quite this extreme on my 1.7. Yours could well be leaking and completely sunk, causing the float chamber to fill up with fuel and leak out.
