the 1.7 input shaft is 150mm shorter wouldnt of thought that

haha i told you so lol and they do have different maps in them as the 1.4 in our volvos is a hevily detuned revision of the r5 unit

proper man foot haha and yer the range rover is a awesome daily no worrys over pot holes, speed bumps, small cars it also does a good 30-35mpg and with thanks to some tweeking it also is pretty fast for a 2.5T motor

well spent a bit of time on my volvo today, got the old engine out and inspected the nice hole in the block looks like a crap casting to me but anyway with my new engine sat by the side line i had to try it in the hole ive created and it fits just, even with the standard heater matrix fan shroud in ...
