ive been running a 1.4 carb for 3 years only problem ive had was a stuck fuel cut off solenoid
had to set it up once and its been fine ever since
and 70odd hp is masses lol drifts without a problem

some can be very stiff like range rover v8s and my 5 series bmw was rock hard if you want to raise it i put some normal washers to lift it up worked a treat

has yours got PAS i wouldnt do it to that

fair enough im not a fan of any spacer adaptors tbh they look weak to me

erm i think so if theres a plastic ring there then yep

dude if you tighten them up properly as in start with one nut finger tightening it while you wiggle the spacer to center it then do the same on the opposite nut then tighten them up properly you shouldnt have no probs

tbh everybody should be doing this on every car when fitting wheels

and dont nock the carbs when set up properly my 1.4 is doing around 40-45mpg at moment
