Very nice restored 360 Turbo

Found this. I thought someone else might wanna see those pics too. Looks very nice. Must have been some kind of job to change that roof.. :P Condition of the car at the first pics doesn't seem to be so good but the result in the last pics is awsome.

I've got the feeling it's dark grey on the pics... (Am I the only one??) Yeah it looks kinda grey in the pics atleast. :P Black is rare color for 300-series here in Finland. I have seen one black GLT here. http://groups.msn.com/volvoclub/volvo240tic84.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=385 That one. :P

All 360's I have seen have had that recirculation button here in Finland. Black is a nice colour. I have thought about repainting my GLT in metallic black or something like that.

Yeah except the new V8 in XC90. 8)

Making the box out of glasfibre and plywood and mounting it in the place of spare tyre is one option. Saves space but you can't keep your spare tire in there though. :P Like that: http://www.teamrwd.com/passat_hece/kotelo.php http://www.autosound.fi/images_subbarit/64.jpg http://www.autosound.fi/ima...

Redblock is an engine construction Volvo used troughout 80's and 90's.

http://koti.mbnet.fi/~meon/26a8ae70.jpg Looks something like that. In 300-series 360's and some 345's have a redblock.

There is no such engine as "B122." That engine is 2 litre Volvo engine for sure. Or bigger if someone has changed it. :P Exhaust manifold is original 2-litre though so I'm almost positive that it is 2 litre. Seems to be B19E because it is fuel-injected. B200-series have a black valve cover. B19-seri...

You can buy an adapter from Volvo dealer so you can fit standard-size radios. Volvo radios are not standard-size so aftermarket radios won't fit in without an adapter.

Turbo fits in quite nicely if you make a new exhaust manifold or use one from 200/700-series car and make and adapter which brings the turbo a bit higher. Of course you need to do something for the LE-jet and ignition system to handle boost. Performance is quite good, at least enough for me. Though ...

Simple technic but also modern enough. So easy to fix and maintain. Volvo motors are built to last and kinda easy and cheap to tune. Allmost all motor parts from bigger Volvos will fit in etc... And I wanted something different than every other has, Golfs, Hondas, 300-serie BMW:s etc...

Thicker anti-roll bars help a lot. We have antiroll-bars made by Koni in GL and roll is very minimal compared to GLT which is stock. GL also has Koni front springs and lowering-kit for leaf-springs at the back. Koni made those for 300-series in late 80's/early 90's so hard to find nowdays.. :P I'm t...
