Re: 360 injection pump prefilter

I got mine from the Volvo dealer, because I could not find a replacement online. And even they had trouble finding a original one. Did not cost much though, under a tenner if I remember right. So you might try a call to a Volvo dealer

Re: MR300: re build, aggression style.

Is that a 940 loom that you will be using? If so, why not use a 240 loom instead, far more easier to work with than a 940 loom.

A-cam comes standard in the 360 b200e and is considered a good upgrade over the t-cam.

Re: Vinyl Injection fuel pipes

Not sure about the fuel line securing as mine was carbed as well. Mine just come out of the chassis box and go directly to the fuel pump, ive not secured them, just ran them on top of the metal plate. The fuel filter does bolt to the same bracket as the renix bolts to. It only uses one hole on the s...

Re: wiper mechanism assembly

When I replaced my wiper motor, I ran it without the wiper mechanism to let it get in the 'off' position. Then I attached the mechanism. You could look a that when installing.

Re: Landrover shocks on rear ?

Depends on what job they need to do. The ebay ones are said to be stiffer than the original landy shocks, and those are already way to stiff for a 300. If you want good handling and some comfort then its best to leave the landy shocks on ebay. If you want to drift and rattle your kidneys out then it...

Re: Nolan's 340 pick up D-project

This car was for sale in France recently. Interesting how they did the pickup conversion. Are there any extra chassis braces installed to get some rigidity back or have they only chopped the roof off?

Re: Volvo 360 B18FT

With a 340 it is worth the effort, with a 360 it isn'isn't. They have the same power stock, boost the 360 and you have 150kw. Sell the engine an get the 360 :)

Re: B230FT oil pressure

what's V3C? I've been having a discussion on Facebook, but the proposer didn't have any real evidence or observations other than the fact the pumps are different, but it is a starting point. Can't imagine the oil cooler doing much its closed and the turbo is only a small bearing. Could you post a f...

Re: B230FT oil pressure

Same discussion on V3C at this moment. Squirters alone will be fine with the stock 300 pump, I have a little lower pressure but nothing serious. If there is still enough volume and pressure when a turbo and cooler is added I can't tell you yet.

Re: 1.9 Carb 1985 Volvo 360 GLS - Bought on 16/11/2014 5.30P

Carburetted engines have all the important (supply and return) fuel lines on top of the tank, under the rear seat. You could look at that first, before removing the whole tank. Take out the fuel sender unit, and take a look inside. That should give you a good indication in what state the inside of t...

If I remember right, there were no threads in both of the coolant holes. But its more than a year ago that I had one so I could be wrong. Found this picture, not very clear but I can't see any threads in the coolant holes. http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Foto-WIAV36BX-D.jpg http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Foto-CISK...

Looks great with those rims! Is that plastic licenseplate holder original? Never seen one of those before.
