Should be easy enough to cobble something together. I've fitted to a Maxi I used to have a Unipart (aka Zemco) trip computer. There were four magnets attached with wire around one of the CV joints of the front driveshaft. The flow sensor was in the line to the carb. It shouldn't really matter what s...

FACT - They don't fit

1" = 25.4mm so 4" = 25.4mm x 4 = 101.6mm.

Fitting wheels correctly and safely involves quite a few important measurements. It's not about BODGING them to fit.

Sven is correct. Minis are 4" / 101.6 mm. PCD. It might not seem much difference but I wouldn't fit them.

That's "dafdaffers" car. He's getting a 44 to replace it. Pity the engine sizes don't tally on the log.

Looking at the cylinder head I have on the table, I think the middle one furthest from the manifold side is the dowelled one.

Remove head with a sideways twist rather than a pull up as it's less likely to disturb the liners. Don't turn the engine after you've removed the head for the same reason, unless you use special tools 5803 (deluxe washer and bolt kit :D) to stop the liners moving up. You'll probably have to get an e...

Much as I'd like to leave it, a load of cellulose went on the rear half of it and sills after repairs. Other non-structural holes were (temporarily) fibre-glassed up and painted with some yellow Smoothrite. If I do respray it when all the panels that need repairing are repaired. It'll be done with t...

Hello from new member from Dublin

Hi all. My name is Rich and I own a DAF 66. I've also owned a Volvo 240 estate and had the pleasure to borrow on occasionally a friend's 340. Unfortunately he's had to replace it (by order of his OH) with a Golf :( I've consider getting a 340 variomatic to add to the stable, but I'm not sure if my O...
