On applying full power the ECU decided to set the idle to about 1800rpm, and nothing would change it other than switching off/...

Nothing wrong with that, 4 cyl turbo is where its at. Volvo were spot on with the 940. Just doesn't sounds nice.

Re: New 340 owner

Looks good, but the windscreen 'chrome' looks pretty deteriorated. If you can find it, 1980 models use real chrome and should be a direct replacement.

Re: fuel problem

The injection cars have the jetronic safety relay then the fuse box to power the pump. Not sure which one is first.

The relay needs pulses fom the ignition (from the crank senspr) to run.

Are you getting power to the relay?

Re: 360 turbo saloon tidy up

So I've been doing more mods and track days, but not sure its getting as much better as I'd hoped. Fuel mods Trying to pump up the leaky swirl pot in the tank with some success. Taking the lob joiner pipe and pumping from that into the inj pump inlet and the tank. Helps me down to about half a tank ...

Re: Brake Upgrades

So after strip down think I found the cause of the possible sparks and whining on hard cornering. I don't think I was getting as much deflection as I thought, Just the very edge was touching and it seemed to be on an unmachined area. Possibly I didn't allow just quite enough space for thermal expans...

Re: Brake Upgrades

So I couldn't get the fog light air feed printed, our work machine wasn't big enough for the base plate and we didn't have time to print the scoop, so I tie wrapped the pipe in and duck taped it, but duck tape don't hold at 110+. Anyway I've tested the Mercedes upgrade on the track, I need to strip ...

Re: Restoration parts

If you depanel the front valence it is much easier to repair and reshape. I combined the best bits of 2 cars, just make sure you trial fit the wings before welding the valence back together.
