Re: One owner 1989 340GL 1.7 for sale

You know you've had a bad spam deluge when you check all recent posts to verify that they're not spam :)

Looking very tidy!

Re: Spam via Private Message - BEWARE

User banned.

The issue is that we don't receive notification of post and PM reports. I've raised that with the admin.

In the meantime, do PM one of us. Look for the "the team" link down at the bottom.

Thanks!

cheers

Re: Why does nobody report spam messages?

We don't get reported post notifications. I'm going to see if that's a setting we can change, but there are a few quite frustrating things about the forum software...! :)

I'm tidying it up now!

V3M / VOC at Papplewick Pumping Station - 16th September

After the success of the Brooklands meet (thanks again to all who came), we're keeping things a bit more simple for the Autumn meet. Do you like 300s? Do you like steam and Victorian engineering? If so, come for a look round Papplewick Pumping Station (NG15 9AJ) in 3 weeks time(!). The engines are s...

Re: 300-series meet - Brooklands Museum - Sunday 13th May

Well, in fairness, the other gates are only 5 minutes away, so I wouldn't let that put you off a 500km drive...! But yes, I can officially confirm that access will be via Brooklands Road. We have a location for a line-up in the "motoring village" section, rather than the paddock. They've relocated u...

That's great news :)

I imagine that access will be via the "back entrance" - https://goo.gl/maps/eL6DnuiVX2R2

300-series meet - Brooklands Museum - Sunday 13th May

Join us for the first of hopefully a series of more regular 300-series meetings, beyond the annual events we've held for the last few years. To kick things off, we revisit the Brooklands Museum (primarily containing aviation and early motorsport exhibits), the venue for our 2013 'national' 300-serie...

2nd Sept - 300-series Autumn Meet - North Wales

Instead of an 'annual' event organised as a VOC 300-series event, I wanna try doing a larger number of smaller-scale events, roughly quarterly. This is the first, and it's a repeat of an event we first ran ten years ago. The plan is for the event to be in two stages. Firstly, a drive along the A5 fr...

Re: Final run of group buy for Torsen LSDs.

Quick question...will Tony's feedback be incorporated into this next batch? Obviously I understand that it's a short run, and these things happen, but I'd rather not be having to shell out extra cash for further machining on a £600 diff!

Re: A long weekend in Flatland

Looks brilliant! I'm keen to visit next year! You can get those 14" "GLT" steels here...but they're pretty rare. They might only have ended up here as spares, if the owner didn't want to pay for a 5th Leo. I think I have one or two in my unit, and I've seen another one or two over the years. cheers ...

Re: Final run of group buy for Torsen LSDs.

I'll take one, maybe two.

Is this definitely the final batch? It would be good to know that the manufacturer could make more, if there was demand.

cheers
