as far as im aware this guys car is running an open diff, he just added some water



i run a welder in my 1.4 340 but its not my daily

Just to add, its usually plumed into to the vacuum nipple on the end of the inlet (usually blanked off for 340's)

Found out what it is today

ECU pin no.5, controls vacuum flow to the charcoal canister/ evap valve, which is often just removed for conversions

also if your fitting into a rhd car you need to modify the exhaust manifold, as the turbo falls right were the brake servo is it basically needs cutting near each exhaust flange and flipping over then welding back up but remember to slacken the bolts on the turbine housing and rotate the oil return ...

but its not the idle control valve, its much smaller, has a plug on one end and the other has 2 vacuum connections at a 90 degree angle to each other,

but i have no idea were its supposed to be plumbed into or what it does
