Re: A bit of a problem?
what type of oil filter have you used?
i suspect the new filter doesn't have a one way valve (rubber flap) in it and so the pump has to refill the oil gallery every time you start

Re: Primary CVT unit failure
the chamber in the primary unit is larger on the thicker hose side, so there's more room to fill with air.
if you can slightly pressurize the chamber via the smaller hose, and it holds that air for about 10sec then it's ok

Re: Anjo's 340Turbo: EFI conversion
since it will get a DIS coil i no longer need the distrubuter, as the shaft potentially is a nice place for securing wiring etc i intend to keep it in place for now but it will lose the dizzy cap offcourse so i made a new cover http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b192/levibaantjer/IMG_0067Large.jpg ht...

Re: cvt, what rpm at what speed??
you say that the solenoid A clicks at 1800rpm, in that case the electrics are ok; it won't allow solenoid A to be energized if any of the 3 kickdown switches are operated. swapping the hoses behind the EMV will cause the car to change up gear too much wich suggests that the fault is at solenoid B it...

Re: Genuine R-sport kit
this kind of stuff is impossible to do on a conveyor belt assembly structure inbetween normaal production. it takes much more time setting up a B19A on twin solex then on a single stromberg and it is simply impossible to cope with that.. factory R-sports were newly bought cars that were converted at...

Re: JAK 74W
jep they are shorter and the later style arb does not fit as the mounting position sits further back. you can convert the whole setup to the modern arb and later style engine mounts, you do need 2 M10x20 1.25thread bolts for the enginemount adaptor for that as these older B14's don't have std M10 th...
