I had a cable problem on Samson (1.4 GL) a while back and it doesn't feel the same as that.

Yea that sounds like it pretty much, so the carb will be the first point of investigation me thinks!

Its a 1.7, Ad did a stunning job at cleaning the carb a couple of months back but it could be an issue all the same I guess...

Incidentally I did notice this problem myself and have been mentioning it for a while....men!
