It looked normal, but I did not looked carefully...I don,t know.... Do you know what kind of oil was originally put in the car in the factory? Was it 15 W 40 or a 10 W 40?

Hi, I had changed motor oil in mine 1, 6 diesel 340 GL. Before it was a 15 W 40 mineral oil and now I put 10 W 40 Shell semi sintetyc. I have noticed that oil light does not turn off for a 2 sec after starting a cold motor. That never happened before with mineral oil. Starting warm engine is normal,...

It works but it is fresh only on the open road, but my driving is a 90 % town so it gets very hot at the traffic lights...

It never had wipers as I was told. Instead of wipers there was plastic cover.

Yes, I posted it some pics and videos on fb... I have driven old vw diesel and opel and I can say that Volvo is in a different league ,smooth quiet, almost no vibrations...

Tnx, yes a GL but since I am new to the 300 world I am not so informed about those marking and what it stands for :oops: This white van in the picture next to Volvo is mine 2012 Citroen Nemo 1,4 hdi, I loved it and drove it constantly but then I met a 340 GL....Now, poor Nemo is forgotten on the par...
