Re: I am looking for some free legal advice?
What I need to know is this. If somebody is holding something that belongs to me against my will, is there a way that I can swear an affor david (Please excuse my spelling), in front of a judge or solicitor with proof that the item does belong to me so that I can just go and re-posess the item whit...

You could always get the V3M Geordie mafia to menace them with a large pastie. I hear they're a pretty frightening lot.

Re: Tyre Presure
I think the official figures are 28 front, 30 back - but I always run mine 35 all round. No problems with uneven tyre wear and handles nice and quick that way. Need decent rubber to make it work though.

Re: Rear bumper - Idiots guide
Wear eye protection when you get round to it. You're lying on your back peering up into the darkness with all sorts of crud falling into your eyes - not pleasant. I used a socket on the bolt and a ratchet spanner on the nut, that way you can work both simultaneously without having to keep on relocat...

Looks like an amazing trip - and you are obviously very handy with a camera!
I'm inspired - going to plan my summer holiday doing something similar to your Scandinavian adventure, but maybe not in the Volvo

Impressive the way the cabin maintains integrity even when the front end is totally bent - V300's rule

Re: Cooling system pressurising
I'm sure you know what you're talking about, but don't understand how the expansion tank can blow up if it's cap is venting the pressure.
But anyway - c'est la vie - time for a valver then?

Re: Cooling system pressurising
Change your expansion tank cap - it should vent and release pressure, and it obviously isn't - that's why stuff is blowing up.

Re: Now here's a question.
Another option might be to take the motor to a local specialist and get it reconditioned. This might be stupid money, but could also be surprisingly cheap.

My thoughts precisely
I'm a bit nervous about changing the suspension setup though - it works really good the way it is. How does stiffening up the front end affect understeer?

Re: If anyone drifts this one I'll hunt them down and kill them
I did happen to point out they're making a nice £1250 mark-up... :P £2250 is really too much... pretty silly really as ebay generally gives you an idea as to how much things are worth, and it went for the right kinda money before! Agreed - it'll never sell for that kind of money. Take a look on Ret...

Bodyshops use special paint with high elasticity so it flexes without cracking. Painted bumpers are easy to do badly
