Re: End of summer
You're ahead of your time.... they're doing it here too, but then this is claimed (by the tabloids) to be the driest July for 247 years.... http://files.myopera.com/jbcooper/albums/14584502/July_2013_13.JPG http://files.myopera.com/jbcooper/albums/14584502/July_2013_12.JPG http://files.myopera.com/...

Re: Adventures of the volvo kind..
I've not found a good anti bug stuff, I normally just use strong washer fluid but the current windscreen wipers I've got are useless at shifting them (or the bugs are stickier) Any solutions would be good. Do you have anything of such?: Product name: Lasol Itikkaliuote 51151 Ingredients: Aqua Alcoh...

Re: Adventures of the volvo kind..
It runs great, tends to start easier when hot with premium?, certainly more power low down and high up. I'm going to get the arches n stuff welded Kryten-esq (boxy), for £150 or so... then build with fiberglass and filler - should make for a very long lasting repair. Exhaust has the slightest blow,...

Re: Photos
Thats a fairly old one too! Good spot! That is '58, all original, with original 9hp motor, even rubbers at brakes are original, that is what one enthusiast told me about the car at another board from this vehicle that he happened to know few things. That photo was one of those situations where be a...

Re: Photos
I did hear it 5 seconds before it was at location, but only could see it for 1 second between obstacles, was taking pics from yellow leaves which always seem to come out badly. Thanks to auto-iso I had enough time to be prepared, tracking sound and taking single shot at right moment. Nice challenge ...

Re: End of summer
Today I spotted first yellow leaves from birch as I went to bicycling.
Weather was bit below +20C, just perfect for little downhill action, wish other direction would go as swiftly! :

Re: End of summer
End of summer?!! Are you sure those leaves are not just red cos they are new shoots? They did turn red this week, when they turn red it is beginning of slow autumn, other trees will follow later, 1-2 months time. Blueberries are 2-3 weeks early this year. Also I think that those leaves did turn red...

Re: Remove rust without doing anything (almost)
Great video! In fact I have a similar dream since looong time ago, a kind of huge bath with phosphoric acid, you put a 3series into it and after that you hope that there is still metal left   More seriously, it can be really great to remove rust, but I have some doubts for closed ...

Re: Fail car
I'm not completely sure if there should be weld at hand brake arm lever, also I doubt that those rear shocks are much good, but they have passed MOT less than 100km ago. Also I'm pretty sure there is no any kind of shock at right front, there is no any resistance at all: http://jtbo.pp.fi/images/343...

Re: Fail car
I did found palm size round about 1cm thick white sticky goo from left front footwell, it was between bitumen and that soft sound proofing material, below that I found rusty hole in making. Structure there is different from how it is other side, it was bit away from front jacking point, there was sh...
