Wing mirror & radio

I'm after a new n/s wing mirror for my 360 (not sure if there is a difference between that and the 340), preferably in good condition. I could also do with a new radio as the current one is really on its last legs. I want to keep with the standard fit / period for the car so it doesn’t look too out ...

Re: Run in with a kerb, parts NLA :(

I think I could have lived with the tracking on A roads but on the Motorway it felt quite twitchy and overly keen to change lane! It's gone to a different garage now to have it reset and they've said that the other place had not done a particularly good job and it's now a lot better. If the wheel is...

Re: Hi!

Bonus! I was definitely not complaining! :D Unfortunately the cutting out problem came back, not as bad as before but I dont really want a car I cant depend on, and I was not happy with the way it pulled to the left so it has gone to another garage to be checked over. Over the weekend I had a quick...

Re: 360 GLT Rest in peace

John Delorean had the right idea, building cars with stainless steel.......genius!, and giving jobs to Belfast workers..what a hero! Sorry for being off topic but if anyone is interested in the Delorean story this is a very good watch: http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=8295574887775056318&e...

Re: Run in with a kerb, parts NLA :(

I don't think it is spot on tbh. I've given it a bit of a test drive today and it seems to be at 12.10-12.15 when going in a straight line. It was worse before the alignment, somewhere around 2 o'clock so it’s made some difference.

Re: Run in with a kerb, parts NLA :(

Hmm having taken a closer look at the print outs I was given I'm not so sure the 360 is actually in the clear :( http://i575.photobucket.com/albums/ss194/alexduffey/scan0002.jpg Overlooking the fact they have put it down as a 83-84 GLT (which it clearly isn't), those caster and camber values look od...

Re: Hi!

Thanks for the tip :) In the end we took the car back to the garage who installed the electric fuel pump as it was really loud. I described the cutting out under hard acceleration / on the motorway and they believed the pump was at fault, causing fuel starvation. New pump fitted and it seems to have...

Re: Run in with a kerb, parts NLA :(

It's finally fixed now :)
Despite the orginal diagnosis of bent parts a second opinion suggested that there was nothing wrong with the car other than the tracking being miles out. So yesterday it was taken to have the wheels aligned and it seems like it's all back to normal again, very relieved :)

Hi!

I've been registered on the board for a little while but thought I'd introduce myself properly! I've a 360 GLE which belonged to belong to a late relative but has now been passed to my girlfriend and I. It's gold, with electric windows (drivers doesn't work-makes paying tolls fun), heated front seat...

Run in with a kerb, parts NLA :(

After a run in with a kerb (my fault! :() I've managed to bend some parts in the steering / suspension, along with a wheel on my 360. I've taken it to a garage who have said the following need replacing: 1. N/S front tie bar attachment bracket 2. N/S front track rod end 3. Tie bar bushes However 1 &...

I've managed to fix my lock for the time being, the problem was a spring pin that had fallen out at some point. If you look at the lock cylinder it has a small hole drilled in the casing at one end. When I removed the boot handle/lock housing assembly from the boot lid I was able to see that there i...

Boot lock cylinder

Hi Guys I'm sorry my first post is a plea for help but I urgently need to fix the boot lock on my 360. It has been fine up until today when the lock cylinder decided to part company with the housing. I have had a search on the forum but haven't been able to find an answer, just that it is held in so...
