Also new evaporators are really small. Just looked at smart fortwo's ac components and they'd fit in the bucket... That's interesting! I wonder if you have any ideas about which other type of evaporator might fit a Volvo 300 heater box? Tom Ummm....the original one? There is plenty of room to fit a...

Well I have whole winter to think how I do it. Luckily I'm not famous of giving up easily :) The condenser unit doesn't have to be in front of radiator. Also new evaporators are really small. Just looked at smart fortwo's ac components and they'd fit in the bucket... I'm planning to actually fit con...

Yup...it was gone. I bought it blind and transported to Finland. They say when you start to go crazy it mainly affects your head :) I will take care of it. I already made the brakes and the engine. The variomatic needs new secondary gears. Car is currently at the paint job. There were a few dings an...

Renault Clio alternator/ac compressor bracket, modified heater box for evaporator, switch, drier, pressure switch, idle compensating valve, recirculation flap+vacuum valve...pretty simple with thorough planning. A LOT of work and measuring to do. Not too much space, underrated radiator and lots of m...

I just got back home from the car I originally got the A.C. equipment. Removed the rad ---- everything was similar to mine. NO difference at all. And the car was A.C. equipped from factory. It's a 1987 360GLT. Interesting...I'll try and sleep now...and forget the whole episode (driving 300 miles for...

I don't think so...If you look at vadis carefully it also knows two different rubber bushings for radiators. One 34mm and one 52mm - one for 17mm core and one for 34mm core rads. I've ordered the nissens rad - will take pics and we'll all see what's the truth. A.C. fan is controlled by sensor fitted...

Different radiator for A.C. 360?
vadis gives a different part number for radiator and fan shroud for a.c. models...? Nissens catalog states that core in non a.c. is 17mm thick and a.c. has 34mm?? As I have ripped the A.C. from another car I have now "wrong" radiator? This might explain the overheating. Does anyone know this for sure?

Of course there is no flow at the branch I made for sensor and oil pressure sender...it's a dead end. Basically when the oil fills the branch it doesn't really change. It takes some time to show any sensible readings, but it's good enough for me. After I put the turbo on I will put external oil filt...
