Re: Volvo 340 R-sport in Latvia
Yes, it was first put up on sale last September: http://www.volvo300mania.com/uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=16326&p=187750 At that price (and in that location) it could be hard to shift. If the price goes down by a fair bit, it could be interesting for someone in Stockholm or Helsinki - just push it ...

Sometimes that's the only way to go: hunt down the wheels individually mchudd's alloys came from 3 or 4 different countries ...

Re: Interior lights
Hi Ben, AFIK 340s didn't have the delay relay as an "official" option, I guess it all depends on whether 340s had a similar wiring loom or not. I once retro fitted the relay to my '88 B200 360 GLi. Everything was pre-wired from the factory, all I had to do was remove the green cable in the picture, ...

I guess I could cut a hole in the drip tray and fit a piece of see-through perspex to it

Re: '82 343 DLS Service day 5: fuel gauge, bulbs, resistor p
Haynes says they are 24V 1w and 12V 1.2w, but I can only find 1.2w 5mm capless in both voltages. Anyone tried these on a mark 3? I haven't I'm afraid. The last time I had a MkIII clock set out, I "cannibalised" another set for its working bulbs and used those. A small tribute to mac's work here (ph...

Re: fitting a rev counter
The knurled knob for the speedo cable tends to break when you unscrew it ... be very gentle with it and you might get it off in one piece :-) If you want to replace the clock, rev counter cars had a seperate one fitted to the blanking plate next to the ashtray. Keep an eye out on the bay ... or I'm ...

Re: Volvo Spoiler
Hey, that used to be my car :-) The exact part number for the Zender spoiler (in case you want to start an Ebay or Google search) is 4.112.03.3 and it was for a Scirocco. One example (already sold): http://www.ebay.com/itm/Zender-Rear-Spoiler-MK1-Volkswagen-Scirocco-1975-1981-/281810802285 It would ...

So they removed: the cigarette lighter + ashtray light, parcel shelf, reverselights (bulbs only!), side guard rubbers, O/S mirror & rear foglight (bulb only). ... I did own a MY'83 340 Winner some decade ago, and loved the basic equipment. It did not have to be GLS or GLE specs for me. Wow, that re...

Re: MY83 Volvo 340 DL with B19A engine
Well spotted Freerck. That really wouldn't surprise me at all. So a Belgian 340 L was basically just the same car from the previous year, just with a different badge. I've noticed that a few times too. Steering wheels, different design for the heater box in the engine bay ... the basic models seemed...

Re: MY83 Volvo 340 DL with B19A engine
That's funny, I have the same brochure for MY83 but another version, no rev counter for the 340 DL B19 this time... You're right. My brochure was Dutch/Belgian maybe your one is Dutch/Netherlands? AFAIK "340 Winner" was Dutch (Nederland) only. So maybe ... your car was originally sold in Holland an...
