Managed to get the GL M.O.T. done Friday and today I got the tax for the Gold GLS and got the cambelt changed, along with fan belts and new coolant as the existing was just rusty water.

After a 20 mile test run tonight (it's stood 8 months ) it's fine so I'll be there in that, might as well bring a different car for a change.

I would have liked to bring the green GLS as it's 30 years old this year. Just didn't get it's M.O.T. done in time, its stuck in the garage behind half dismantled transits and stuff. Also has a leaking water pump to sort out as well as the cambelt maybe, it's 5 years old as far as I can tell since the last change.

Mrs HD has now seen the Gold car this evening, didn't go down too badly, I picked a good time....she'd just had a glass of wine I don't think she would have noticed till the morning anyway! Also helps that the GL is now off the premises too.

A very friendly chap called Kenny turned up on Saturday in this lovely '87 360 GLT, and had such a good time booked into a hotel for the night so they could come on Sunday too. They were from Bury near Manchester, I think.
