V3M Track day ?

Post by volvosneverdie » 01 Jul 2010 11:24 am

Mrsoundcraft had a nice run round this tarck recently.

Kames

Thread link.

I really fancy a run up for a (body) roll around.

Any one else fancy a day on the track?
Its in Scotland so northerners and Scots most likely, but obviously everyone welcome.

Shout up to give an idea of numbers and Mrsoundcrafts gonna speak to them and see what can be arranged.

Youre in dude.

But you will be running with a suitable handycap.
Boot full of beer/one hand tied behind back etc.

Hmm, car is just up the road and it would be handy to finish off the old Michelins...

...but it's a no at the minute.

Right then, who's in?

No date is set yet so let's see what we can work out.

The track has toilet and Cafe facilities, as well as a paddock which we could use if anyone just wants to put their car on display and soak up the banter  We could even organise car parts swap shop type thing?

Here's the rules

"All drivers must be EACC members. Anyone wanting to drive who is not a member must join (on the day is OK) at a cost of £20 for the year.
No drivers under the age of 14
Passengers don't need to be members but they do need to sign on.
Anyone on track must wear a crash helmet and seatbelt.
Only one car on track at a time.
Its not insured as a competition so no timing of runs is allowed."

Ive been recommended to keep numbers to 15 cars, this will work out at less than £25 per car + club membership fee of £20 for the year!
The Track day will start at about 9.30 and end by 4.30.

As the club is run by volunteers the booking cannot be confirmed until a committee member and first aider is avaliable for the day. The 17th July, 24th of July and 4th September are unavailable other than the dates shown in the calender on the website.

^ Right before I plan to FT the 360. Fail (for me).

I'm up for it though if the dates suit. Are we allowed to drift on this track? I'm guessing no. lol
