VOC / V3M at Haynes Motor Museum - 2nd October 2022

Rather short notice, but I'm a bit behind with a lot of stuff this year...!

We're heading back to the Haynes Museum (in the middle of nowhere in Somerset!) for our annual meet for the first time in 7 years.
They've closed the test track in the meantime, and there's a Cars & Coffee -style event happening in the morning (so it might be wise to show up at 10:30+, as the car park sounds like it'll be rammed early-on), but I'm sure it'll be a good day out regardless. We have a guided tour booked at 11:30.

Full price admission is £17.50, but it drops to £13.50 if we have 15 people turn up, and the VOC will hopefully be able to subsidise some or all of what's left, depending on numbers. We will all need to go in together to make that happen, though.

Hope to see some of you there!

cheers

James

Bit of a trek from up here

Visited years ago, the 'Red Room' was pretty impressive.

It was a good day! Very well done to James and Chris for the admin side. Much appreciated.

There were 6 300's, I think, five of which are shown in the line-up here:

and another, with a near-DeLorean finish, here:

There was also a Bertoni styled convertible, a C30 and someone with a 4x4 (XC90 something - I don't know the modern Volvos) who was, very kindly, giving out parts. Thank you very much, whoever you are, for the dash-board clock which I needed muchly because the light bulb in mine blew a while ago and melted a hole in the clock face!
