East Midlands (NOT SO ) mini meet
You should be fine. Drop down the M1, then come off at J24, following the signs for the airport. Drive past the airport and before you know where you are you're at Donington Park.Stuntman wrote:Right so this convoy malarky, I'd like people to go with as I keep getting lost and i don't want to spend hours drivong around attracting attention in TULIP
Anyone want to be my friend?
Redline, cornholio?
As James will be going past the end of my road (A52, well sort of) I was going to ask if I could join his convoy. But then again, I don't know if I'd be able to keep up

- Geraldine - Kia Venga
Here's that map again. Those coming from J28 will want to join the A453 off the M1, but NOT A453 to Nottingham. Keep going round the island and take A453 to East Midlands Airport and Donington Park.

Yeah, they're still forecasting rain and snow. We had some of that earlier in the week. It was great fun driving homepetavius wrote:Eeek - just seen the weather forcast

Hopefully well before 11, unless you plan to dodder up the M1 at 40mph!redline wrote: I aim to leave mk about 9 so should be at Donnington before 11 ,
Cruising at a sensible 80mph you should do it in about an hour.

Err, various minor roads to the A6, then A38/A61/A52/A511 (Derby ring road) then the A50 and off and up through Castle Donnington village.Stuntman wrote:Rupert where are you leaving from???
Alternatively we could all arrange to meet up at Donnington Services at 10.50 and travel in convoy to the circuit??
