it would be great to have a owners club type meet there,it could be on a weekday or on a saturday night (cruise night)...well they call it cruise night but i can usually arrange loads of track time for some twin drifting volvo styleee as this makes good entertainment for the essex chavs!!,it would be a good event!!
Trouble is unfortunately the majority of people on here aren't going to be interested in drifting and won't have a LSD or welded diff so at £175 there aren't going to be many people who can afford it and I pressume there is only one driftschool car? Might work if there was several people and spread the £175 between them to get a short amount of time on the track each? Really it needs to be setup as a trackday and not just a drift day or we just won't get the interest of enough members,
edit: just an idea, i've got no idea how these drift days are done but would it be possible to share the driving time, 10-4 so 6hours of driving. Would it work with 6 people and an hour driving each for £30 or is the whole day required per person to get them up to standard? Obviously an hour isn't long but it'd give people a taster, the car might not like being abused for 6hours on the trot though
cheers

seriously though ,I wouldent mind coming down to watch sometime,if we could do it as a club meet ,
probably see more action than we did at Donnington

WE COULD CHANGE THE FORMAT TO SUIT,
timed laps
cat and mouse
remember the £175 can be shared between 3 drivers and with the car supplied ...thats great value with regards to track days

Although I know thats very cheap for what it is the problem is getting people on here to part with that kind of cash. Really to keep the cost down it needs to be organised so that people are using their own cars. Obviously people could attempt it with open diff's but really I think the majority would want a more race orientated thing. What kind of possibilities are there for organising some kind of time attack with some cones to make the oval a bit more challenging? I think this would attract a lot more people but making the day cheaper for individuals (a lot more cars+cheaper price = more money for you )

Well, I can see all the comments are all very true. Personally I'd be up for sharing a day, I see it as being well worth the money for what it is. I'd rather not use my own car, as firstly the diff isn't welded, and in the enclosed environment the barriers aren't too forgiving. I'd also like a track day, or circuit setup, that'd be interesting for another time.
Mick, excellent video you found there!

Exactly, I think it would attract a wider audience but still allow everyone to try drifting that wants to, would give a good comparison of different models and see how the modifications have effected the different cars, I said time attack as none of us want to crash our pride and joy, especially into each other, so one at a time on the track would be safer and then just compare the times at the end of the day,
