Well, a good day today. Bl**dy hot, but I'd rather that than torrential rain Lots of interesting cars running down the dragstrip, the most interesting was a jet powered car complete with massive afterburner that ran a 6.5sec 1/4 mile and just about managed to deafen everyone watching.
We then popped round to Chesh's place to collect a few bits and have a drink, so thanks to him, I now have a few more bits to take my projects forwards. His directions to get home worked perfectly, apart from massive traffic on the M1 such is life. Still, all home safely

Well, I finally made it there at around 1 pm, scorched in the sun, suffered along with many others from the effects of hayfever, but had a great time. It was interesting to watch the array of retro cars on the track and see the others on display, some of the most interesting were sadly parked in the general car park! A certain Foggy managed to park in the Retro Car Park though!
We had a good line up on the grass afterwards, I'm sure someone will post their pictures up later. Sadly Adam had already left.
And also........ on the way out of the Pod after we'd gathered ourselves together and into a line, we'd only just left the main gate as I noticed Foggy's n/s rear tyre had rapidly deflated itself, much light flashing, horn blowing and arm waving later, he stopped to make a tyre change! It's becoming a bit of a habit of his at meets, being the centre of attention and changing tyres!
Cheers to Chesh as well, was good to see eveyone and have a cool quiet drink in the evening.
Pete

Good pics Foggy. At least you got the best side of the GLT, which for once was still clean from the BKV, well, cleanish, apart from the dead flies mashed into the front! They all look really good, and it's good to see more saloons, as I was last to park in the line up, I thought we'd encase the two saloons with the hatchbacks to be creatively arty!

Well he was planning to go along, but late on the saturday evening his car developed a bad exhaust blow around the manifold , we had a go at patching it up but no luck the reason we could not fix it was revealed the next day when we removed the manifold.Posted: Thu Jun 22, 2006 12:05 pm Post subject:

Shame Husky and his brother didn't make it. Also a shame that Dave and Adam had left before the photo line up happened.
Anyway, here are the promised pictures and video evidence of one Mr FoggyJames in his latest V3M meet stunt. Poor bloke, providing the entertainment everytime in one form or another.
Oh dear, what's this!?
Flat again..........
Click on the images below to see some crappy phone cam footage, sound has gone missing........I blame photobucket for that!
