UK Turbobricks/v3m summer meet
Posted: 15 Apr 2006 12:02 am
Right it was surgested to me by other members (and my mom) that we have another summer party, here at Griz towers.
The proposed date is 19-20 august
Venue is Kinver, uk, my place
Whats happening :- basicaly a nice meet, drinking (lots), food (also lots) and much talking about life, the universe and everything (and volvos).
Invited guest's are.... All UK tbrickers are welcome, as are all V3m people! Also partners/relatives/other volvo people you know are welcome so long as we know whos coming.
As this is a weekend long meet (to allow people to drink/get merry) my garden and portacabin will be devoted to sleeping space. Bring an airbed/tent/sleeping bag, and we will find space (even if you end up sleeping in one of the estates)
Im giving you all lots of time to organise your diary's and to judge reaction/numbers, so planning of beer/food can be done.
Your welcome to bring your own beer and food, though im hoping that beer (so long as i know what you want) will be provided, food we can work out later (BBQ food is the plan, someone to organise this would be great)
There is plenty of space here for 100 people in the garden, and off the road parking for people staying the night (15 cars can fit in the drive with some skill, more on the land around is if you behave, its a very delicate SSSI)
Last years event went well (with i think 15 of us? volvo nuts) and my parents all said nice things about you...so keep it freindly and fun and it will be all great again.
Hopefully i will see plenty of you down here!
So comments?!
