I know I shouldn't mention it, but I know there are a few VW fans about...
'Dubstock 2006 - Sunday 16th July - 4 miles from Ludlow'
I shall be there with the LT35 and it's usually a good laugh.
www.dubstock.co.uk for those who may want a look.
I shall say no more about it!!!
Don't hate me!

Worry not, we're a broad church. I know I'm not the only one here with a fondness for old Citroëns...

This is excelent - soon we will have amassed enough knowledge to virtually take over the 'older' car world

Most of us here have a fondness and appreciate most of the older cars. I was having a discussion with a mate last night about cars, and he hates any car over a couple of years old, where as I'd have very little interest in owning a new car, mainly as I'd not be able to play with it or service it and the lack of character.
I think 990 is right, with the knowledge between us from what we like or have owned or do own we have a pretty vast array of experts and information to keep some of the older cars on the road!

HEY! I did try my hardest to destroy it! Including crashing it, blowing it up and setting it on fire! Clarkson would have been proud! But would it die? Would it buggery!
