I think its more likely that you saw this one This is the correct Rothmans livery of the Ford Escort MK2 in which Ari Vatanen - Dave Richards won the 1980 Acropolis rally.

There are quite a few MK2's around in Rothman's colours. The one in Beaulieu is done up for Vatanen/Richards on an RAC (forget which year...). I doubt that many of them are original works cars though, however there is at least one I know of that is still rallied! If I had an original I certainly wouldn't compete in it, they'd be worth far too much to risk breaking!

Still havn't sussed out if I can fix 6 hella 2000's on the front of my cars that Audi rules! Brings a whole new meaning to day-vision!

Wasn't a supposedly original Rothmans works car out on the Sunseeker last year? Whether it was real one or not, it sounded beautiful and was bloody quick!! I'd go for the quattro myself though :twisted:

That's the one I was thinking of, a couple of people at the time told me it was an original one.

But you can't rotate tires if you get Quattro so tire expenses are considerably more :lol:

Nice video, but there was this music, would been great without music, however we don't find those too often :P
