Sorry, Pete - If I hadn't done it, Mick soon would
It couldn't be easier for my first trip in UK on the WRONG side of the road Thanks! lol5lab wrote:driving direction programs tend to take you through the middle of exeter. don't take this route - its crap. coming down the M5 (which i'd imagine you all are) stay on the m5 until you get to a turning for the a30 (this is AFTER the services - the a30 before the services is going the wrong way) - the road pretty much splits - 2 lanes go a30 towards oakhampton, 2 lanes are a38 to plymouth. just after this - i think the next turning on the left - is signposted a377 towards crediton, take this road. it winds thru the outskirts of exeter for a bit, then crosses the river and gets pretty rural (follow signs to crediton the whole time) - when you get to crediton the road will be narrow for a bit coming up a hill - only just wide enough for 2 cars (so be careful) - after this you come onto the high street - searle street is just by the bit clock/tourist information place on the right - belmont house is at the top of searle street, on the left. there are a couple of speed cameras on the bits through towns/villages, so keep to the limit..
