That new shell v-power stuff that apparently makes your car turn into a ferrari is 99 octane, interestingly. And I did hear a rumour that BP are going to start selling 102RON in selected stations for over 2 quid a litre! Could be a load of bullocks but you never know. Oh, and in japan, premium fuel is 100RON.
In case anyone cares, that is.

I'll stick with 115ron fuel from my local station at 35p/litre

I suspect your timing will need adjusting on the 240.

Unlucky Dave, I also won't be able to make it. The job has turned out to be more involved and due to a few delays I'm working all day tomorrow on getting things ready, the Sunday I'll be fitting it all. So, I hope everyone has a great time and a successful fixing weekend!

Again another meet when Vicky has to work the week end so I won't be able to make this one.

I would like to get to a meet soon as it has been a while.

Agreed - I think we need to organise something! Are my springs ready also? Need to get some parts off you sometime!

Bring some beer if you want to drink it! I think we've got food covered.

I wouldn't get too excited by the scale of this...our garden isn't huge, and one of our neighbours has dogs, so I've tried to keep the fireworks on the tame side. Having said that, there's something in one of the boxes which looks like it was confiscated in an IRA raid

We may have to spread the cars around the area a bit, since parking will most likely be at a premium. I'll hide my 240 away, so we've got probably 2-3 spaces outside the house...but double that number of cars arriving.

cheers

Cheers for the meet guys was great fun, specially my large rocket that didnt have any propulsion and just exploded on the launch tube much to the ammusment of our ears. (why oh why was no camera on it)

Thanks to Ryan for cooking the food,

Thanks to Foggy for taking my Rupertesqe style instructions on removing Nessy's Engine.

I'm quite amazed that he pretty much did his first engine pull in 3.5hours all on his own effort whilst taking lots of abuse.

Cheers to SteveP, Dkay11111yo, Pettaw, Ozzy and Martin for the banter.

For ya info Steve, i stuck cruise on at 70mph and achieved 48mpg, but for the last ten minutes the sleepyness was setting in so to wake myself up a bit I made the engine make sweet music to 120mph for the rest of it and economy dropped to 36mpg. Made it home in 1hr 20mins.

Sorry i couldn't stay for Sundays fun and games reinstalling the engine.

P.S but i've left some helpfull install instructions for you.

Don't worry the man himself (Rupert) will probably make an appearance for that one to lend his helpful advice. :P

Spings are shocks are ready and waiting.

Would you like to try and arrange a time and place?

Vicky works every other weekend.
