Post by 5lab » 14 Dec 2006 12:46 pm

ello peeps

well.. i start my travels towards africa in less than 48 hours.. all very excited. pretty sure i've forgotten something *fairly* major, but i can't think what it is so i'm choosing not to worry..

if you wanna track me (as i shan't be online) - keep your eyes on www.iroll.co.uk - click the 'the challenge' link.. should be updated fairly regularly with my progress/state of car :)

Back in a month!

Good luck mate, you wait, big big butterflies tomorrow!

Good Luck Hugh, all the best! You'll find what it is when you're in desperate need of it and there is no chance of finding a replacement!

Have fun, take lots of pictures for us to see!

Good luck on your travels.

If you do end up being traded for a sheep I know someone interested in one

Oh I have one slight niggle about it being the only know convertible - I remeber seeing pics of one on the forum some time ago - anyone remember the thread?

Best of luck
Dai

Yeah, I thought that too Dai, but didn't whizz on Hugh's bonfire! It'd be interesting to see how that project progressed.

I was wondering when the rally left. I hunted al over their website, and the only date I could fine was 13th Jan, but I wasn't sure what that was.

Pity I can't be down there to see you off, but good luck :)

Good luck on your adventures, Hugh. Make friends with the Russians - they can fix anything with some chemical metal and a few rubber bands!
