Any of them any good though? I can imagine brummie karts lacking wheels, and brummie karters complaining that they are too slow whilst using too much petrol

I'd be very very interested in the GrandPrix Karting place, their outside track looks a bit awesome. AND there wouldn't be much Brummie slowness from those either :D

Karting sounds fun, allways wanted to give it a try. What kind of date were you thinking of?

There's a good one in Leicester too but I don't think too many people are from there. I had good fun on this track. Quite fast:

I think midlands would be the best bet. I'll have a word with my boss to find out which out door track is the best in the area with the best karts.

My bosses recomendation for karting is http://www.cannonraceway.co.uk/index.htm

It is indoor but a ver good track. Price for arive and drive is £15 for 15 mins

It is supposed to be a good track for either a novice or experianced karter

Took this video this morning while taking one of the karts out this morning. It is with my phone held in my hand as I did the 2 lap test drive so it a little shakey and a bit slower than normal with cold engine and cold tyres but it gives you an idea what the track is like

Hope this is the right link
