Well, I'm shattered now! What a great day, nice to meet up with old friends and meet others I know on the forum but not face to face for the first time.
Some very nice cars there, loads of Amazons. Quite a good showing of 300's, some we've never seen before too!
I only wish I had had more time to clean the vario, the dull and faded paint does come up well when polished, but adjusting the drive belts at 9:00 pm last night was more important! I did have cleanish wheels though!
Pete

Hey Pete and all the other V3M members that attended..
Soz i dint get to chat to you much Pete, but as you say was good to put names to faces!!!
Was a really good day out, there were sooo many cars to look at.
I was meant to have that 850 pickup, we turned it down, regret it now as it looked so good and got so much attention!!
Drive back was really long was loads of traffic on the M25..
Oh was yours the one with the GT wheels? those look really smart on it.
that poor guy still cant get rid of the 360 GLS..
All the best guys.. Was Mac there? I dint meet him

Was a really good day indeed, Andy reminded me on MSN just now about the collection of adverts on show on a screen in the museum, I'd forgotten all about it. The crash test dummies ad was on there apparently!
Jay, I only realised it was you as you were leaving! When you bought the gauges off of John I wondered as you were looking at the 300 cavity covers! Then I got talking to someone again and you'd gone!
Yeah Mac was there...... very good to meet him at last and Mrs Mac.
That 850 was very interesting and the story behind it too. My dad built a 140 pickup years ago..... might still be about somewhere, we found it a few years ago, it was green by then and had been messed about with a bit.
Yeah mine was the variomatic with the GT wheels, it borrowed the boots from the GLT for the day!
