Meet idea - drive down the A5
Ok just an idea for a possible meet with a slight twist to normal.
The rough idea of the meet would be to meet up around Telford (exact location can be arranged later) and park up for a while. At oubout lunch time ish we could set off in convoy along the A5 to wet and windy Wales I'm sure I can work out a good place for food atc depending on how far ppl would be willing to go.
I do relise that not a huge number will be interested but it a fantastic drive and would probably be best in limited numbers anyway.
So does anyone like the idea?

Aye, the A5 is quite fun....
I remember getting off a train at Llangollen, watching the engine run around the stock, going to the local curry house and ordering a takeaway, driving up to Glyndyfddwllllryyylyyyw (christ knows, but it has no vowels!) with said takeaway, and then watching the train arrive!!
For those in the know it's called the 'Class 20 avoidance move'.

Terms and conditions apply. This post may go down as well as up. Regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Hard hats to be worn. No reversing without a banksman. No admittance to unauthorized persons. Stop that. Put that down. Leave that alone.

The 14'th sounds good to me. I'm fairly sure I'll be in the 240 as there is now way the 340 will be ready by then.
I've not looked properly yet as to where to go but Llanberis does have some good (Free ) places to vist. There is the slate works and also the electric mountain as possibles. If that is to far for everyone then I will think of somewhere a little less into nowhere
