Retro Rides Gathering - Gaydon - August 17th 2008
From another forum I'm on (I think we made an impression, heard a couple of people mentioning us )
The Volvo lineup was ace, I'll try and get my pictures up tonight. I took a fair few.

Jason I didn't even know you were there or I'd have said hi. I'd like to say sorry to everyone for not being very talkative, I was a bit hungover, distracted, and really dreading the 4 hour drive home followed immediately by the ten hour night shift. I promise to be a lot more chatty at the next meet we have.
Would like to see some pics of our lineup, think we had the biggest turnout of all. There aren't many pictures of us on retro rides, except for my 'signwriting', I don't think that means we weren't accepted though, there were plenty of people looking at the cars, just there was plenty stuff with more visual impact.

oh and I was keeping a low profile after having my wrists slapped for hooning around the car park and a bit tired from my gravel raking session

In fairness, it was the crossplies on the 54 pop that did the damage to the gravel, not my 185s, or the 20s on the merc. But I took the rap like a man. What I can't believe is that we didn't get bollocked for all the other driving antics, with 5 people in the pop.
It was definitely worth the reprimand.
