I wouldn't worry Tom, I don't think that many people are going to go anyway. I know I can't go. I could make the 8th or the 15th but not the 22nd.

D'oh just realised I can't make the 22nd as there's a christening I need to attend  (I was going to be an infidel and come along )

At the risk of having a toys out of the pram moment... (and Andy, this isn't soley aimed at you, but I'm not going to multiquote everyone above)

Looking above at the poll, the 22nd was clearly the choice made by most people when it was set up back in December, and I feel it's quite frankly ridiculous to be discussing moving the meet to a date that is 8 days away at such short notice. I'm known for being one of the least organised people ever and even I've put this date in my dairy over a month ago, and have been turning down things on that day since. *If* people really have managed to double book themselves in the last month and want the meet postponed then I'll do so, but for those who have turned down other activities or booked the day off work I think this is very unfair.

Chris, I'm sorry about adding to the confusion with my random posts about the 15th. Didn't mean to "rain on your parade" :-(

It would have been great if we could have all made it on the 15th, I guess that's life though, everyone's busy and we all need plenty notice. Meet in Stelvio, Italy in late summer? I'll be there, will you?

Thats alright Tom, I did warn there was a rant approaching! Just I know people have made the effort to book time off and stuff, it didn't seem fair.

So then, who is still coming on the 22nd?

I can be there if neccesary, but I'm not sure if it's worth turning up to a meet if there are only 3 people attending.

Perhaps postponing it a month or so may be in order?
Terms and conditions apply. This post may go down as well as up. Regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Hard hats to be worn. No reversing without a banksman. No admittance to unauthorized persons. Stop that. Put that down. Leave that alone.

I'm liking this suggestion, it seems to make lots of sense with current happenings

Let me have a think about times etc, and I'll try and work out a good day later on. Are Saturdays ok with people, or Sundays still preferred?

Just finished kissing our coaches ass to give me back the roster slot i gave up for this

Sundays are preferred and ill try and get together all our game dates so i know when i can and cannot do, Chris if you dont manage to find anything to do on 22nd, you could come watch the game, Southampton v Portsmouth, should be pretty intense!

Dan.
