I called the resto-haus earlier...turns out the car is going to be held up for a while...I can expect to get it back in 6-8 weeks. :(

I guess that means I'm focussed on making the 740 the naughtiest turbocharged Volvo there :) ...assuming a certain white thing doesn't make it

Sucks about the wait, but i bet it will be worth it. Is it staying the original blue, or you changing it?

 Not intentionally, The pinkness was the result of polishing, that'll teach me for trying to combat 22 years of sunlight with some polish :D Luckily its only on the bonnet so a few cans of black spray paint should solve it.

So its still pink then..............................................................................

Get pics up when youve got the bonnet and leos on man.
i bet you its gonna look hard as japanese mathmatics man.

Thought of doing the bonnet gloss white, to pick up the wheels?
And a white grille?

I dunno if the bonnet in white will work tbh, its juts something about the black bonnets which does it for me, mind you ive never seen a mkII or III with a black bonnet so maybe ill be the first. I cant wait to get the leo's finished, ive decided on white and i hope to have them with fresh rubber on for PPC.

Ugh. The people of Turbobricks are trying to convince me to fix up my 164 and bring that. I know it brings the awesome with oldness...but it's ugly with rust, and not exactly a performance car, despite 3 litres...

With a bit of luck, all it will need is for me get the worst of the rust dealt with, then to wave the MOT man some cash prize monies, and it'll have test...tax is free :)

Dont worry James, I'll keep you busy enough with the 740 so no need to worry about the 164.
