What dya think...one big date, late in the summer...the uber meet? Try to get as many people and cars together as we can?

A tourist attraction somewhere in the midlands (I'm tempted by something like the tramway museum at Crich) then a drive to a pub where we settle in for the evening?

cheers

James

If we settle into a pub for the evening it'll have to have beds, or I'll have to drive 4 million miles home drunk. Would be nice to have a big deal of a meet though, surely we could string 20+ cars together if people made the effort.

We could camp it up. The Taunton meet was epic.

Trouble is...where to find a campsite which will put up with a load of car fans...one of which is John  I've seen what he did at Gaydon

cheers

James

Give me a car, some wet gravel, and no supervision, what did they think was going to happen?!
IMO everyone who didn't join the donut train wants punished.

Yep..i also have to beg my dad to go get it for me like mad. if you remember all thats wrong with it is a dead clutch...and the price he just gave me(the seller) in desperation is interesting :D

Aye a mk1 in actual fact, but Sven's point is that it lacks the massive mk3 bumpers he hates. I do indeed remember that the 'embroyage' is 'non marche' or some such franglais malarkey. I'll come to your house and fix the clutch if you buy it. I'll need 8 gallons of beer (biere francais est bon si necessaire) and access to local women.

OMG

From checking my french with google I've noticed that the trois-quatre-trois in the pic is both:

non marche

AND

bon marché

MEGA LOLZ (GR8 4 linguist's dinner parties).
