Probably best place to start is with a good old fashion service, oil, plugs, leads and filters. after that depends on how much your willing to spend, ive heard the 2.0 blocks arent too hard to turbo, but i may be wrong.

I'd say start with the simple/easy stuff first...... Strip it all out, replacement K+N/whatever panel filter and free-er exhaust, other than that you prolly looking at spending money......
The 360's werent the best car Ovlov ever built, but they can be made to go quick - it just depends on looking how much you want to shell out for...... personally I'd find a decent B2300 lump from a 740 and take it from there.
I've got a 360GLT and I reckon thats what I'd do to mine.....
MKIII 360GLT Aus-spec B200EA 239K
Mods: custom paint fade
New Cylinder head.
Auxilary cooling fan.
195/60/14 Pyonghung Ditchfinder tyres
Vario Vents FTW
G8 4 DRFTN etc....

me last car was a 440 that was stripped out was ok for speed but wen it came to taking passengers i was stuffed so ideally dont want to strip it out, probably just go for the cheapest easiest options first then work me way up

Lol, the only way this one goes round corners is with quantities of left foot braking

As to your orig question, do a full service and I'd also do an injector clean. The ECU's open loop so not having the injectors in perfect order will be a problem for it.
