I can't believe that was printed! EXCELLENT is one word for it, which doesn't even start to come close to describing it actually! Good work, that has to be a monumental moment in Volvo 300 history! This will be the first time I'll have ever bought the magazine, but that I must have in print!

Love the PIMP badge too, looks spot on!

But as others have said, out secret of the Volvo 300 is now out! Ahhh well, many will never overcome the stereotypical image to actually buy and own a Volvo 300.

And I'd like to see the article about Husky too, if anyone has it!

I'm sure I've seen the red 300 somewhere before, the plate looks familar to me! It is actually a 360 GLT right, which they've called a 340 by mistake in the mag!? Just out of interest, is the sunroof missing in it?

It would be nice to get a group of 300's in a mag like retro.
I'm sure we can gather some modded 3's together. I did have an offer a while ago to take my dads 240 turbo over to them.
I have spoken to Kevin somewhat about his P1800.

It is most certanly a GLT... it looked alright 'ontop' of the bodywork anyway til they got hold of it  Though I guess it could be rotten underneath!

It must be a GLT, as it's got the fogs, the colour codings are right etc etc. It's on Mk2 alloys on the front, see page 2, under the caption DOH! but as you say, steels at the rear Adam. I really do recognise that car from somewhere!

Hmmm could it be that one that was on ebay with the faded bonnet?

Which one was that? The one I was thinking of was the one at Cottered, was on the bay a couple of times, then sold for £50 on one go I seem to remember. It was pictured on a gravel drive. The plate just seems very familiar! On closer inspection it looks like the sunroof is infact there, it's just sitting very low, so it rules out my theory of where the car may have originated!

The one that had Mk2 GLT alloys, can't remember where abouts it was though. It was very shiny apart from the bonnet that was faded.

Between Steve and myself we've figured out it was the Ebay bargain with Mk2 alloys. The evo username gave it away too! That car looked very good, bar the faded paint, but that would've polished out! However, I'm sure the dents will buff out! Maybe not then.........

Haha good work guys, yes that car was the 360GLT off Ebay. They got it wrong in the mag. We've still got it, just waiting to be scrapped.

I changed the rad because it was overheating when purchased. Great car which ran fine, until my mate sold it to the person driving it in the mag review, and his twit mate grabbed the wheel sending it into the crash barrier on purpose. Muppet cos that car would have lasted for ages.

The steels were fitted on the rear only, as they were better for drifting that day.

:)
