I have now been to look at it, and its actually a 360 GLT, and its a injection model so i reckon it will be the 2lt version :?

Does anyone know if this is succeptible to cold weather ??? 8)

Yeah, it will be the 2.0 if it's a 360. The lump is a Volvo one and it's cold in Sweden...

Here are the pics of the underside of a 360, I'll send you a pm with a couple more images.

Cheers,

Gavin.

I would have thought a J reg 360GLT would be quite rare ,

Years ago when I worked in Wellingborough there was a company that built phoenix trikes out of vw beetles ,like this but without the box

got quite friendly with the guy to the point where he used to let me take them out for there initial road tests before they were mot'd , always wanted a trike but marraige , kids , you know how it go's

That looks nice.

It's a funny thing, I think that Mrs C would quite like us to have a trike, but I've got nowhere to keep one.

On the other hand, whenever I suggest that I'd like to get on two wheels, she gets quite upset...

Two wheels are very good, i have a little 125 i go to work on not very good when snow is around

i could use the car that her indoors uses, but i wanna build a trike 8)

so its a bit of both worlds - free and easy but still good enough to use in a bit of snow and ice

Hmmm, all sounds very interesting! If that is a 360 on anything later than a G plate, it's as rare as anything! I like the idea of a Volvo trike, keep us updated!

latest --- dont think i can use the 360 as all the injection stuff sticks out too far, it will seriously hamper any leg movement on my left hand side and cos it injection there may be to much torque on the frame ( im not going to build this out of 3 inch box section like some of the other big trikes i have seen abouit . so im now looking for a 340.

ANYONE located in north herts area got one going ???????

if anyone is interested in the 360 , pm me as quick as possible i can supply the phone number and he is looking for about 40 quid for it. no tax or mot

I wouldn't worry about those factors, to be honest. The B200E is pretty lethargic in standard tune for a 2.0 lump, and the injection gear doesn't strike me as being any smaller than the carb setup.

cheers

ok , question -- is the 340 engine smaller than the 360 including all the stuff bolted to it ???? several inches could make alot of differance

Yes. 1.4, quite a lot smaller, 1.7 not so much. Both are smaller though. Both Renault engines have huge airpans bolted to them, which make quite a difference.

cheers
