If a few years difference between that model and the latest model, are you sure a 360 is really the car for you??

If it really is a 360 GLT you're after, I'll have an E reg for sale one day. It's not going to be for a couple of months at least yet, so if you didn't mind waiting, it might be a possibility.

My thoughts exactly. My Mk2 GLT is in better condition, and I'm pretty sure significantly faster, than either of my previous late 80's Mk3's. It is widely felt that later 360's have less grunt than earlier ones - other than that the only real differences are cosmetic.

Anyway - I digress. Back on topic: I think Carl's idea of a V3M shop for members to sell quality parts/upgrades direct from the site with credit card handling, or alternatively a system based on Paypal, would be a real winner. A small percentage could be taken by V3M for the service and the rest shunted direct to the producer. If people know exactly what they will be getting with pics, descriptions and reviews and with P+P clearly stated they will be much more likely to click the link and hand over their cash.

It would really raise the profile of V3M too.

rollcage, This is quite a possibility I will look into this.
sumpguard, Again another good one that can be done - decrative or functional?
engine mounts, The engine mounts are already there for the 1.4 and 1.7
Front clear indicators, Done but not by me.
front and rear strut brace!! Front strut brace there was someone from oz who offered them. I'm sure I could do something similare. The rear barce would serve no function so to me seems completly pointless to make.

Functional!!!!!!!!!!
Perhaps I should look at two options with this. A nice light alloy splash pan as a upgrade over the placy cr@p and a reinfored one for sport use.

Yeah, I suppose that would be quite easy once you've got the dimensions.

I've got an old 'light duty' one off my old XR4x4 that I keep meaning to attempt to bolt on as I know I havent got the tools or even the skills to make up something decent from scratch. But that's yet another job I havent got round too!

For now I'm interested:

-360 engine mounts
-Rear ARB
-Sumpguard (maybe gearbox guard also)

Those are which I would buy right away. (Depending on the price of the ARB, but 360 engine mount's definately)

Of course I'm interested in better brakes and other stuff too, but as there are lot's of other things to do with the car. (Front fenders, left rear arch etc..) I can't afford all the stuff at once..

I'll be needing some springs at the spring (lol) so if some of these products are in production at the spring/next summer, I'll be ordering those with the springs. ;) Engine mounts definately. I still haven't installed my front Konis, as I don't want to put stock springs with those (Now front is a bit too high compared to rear) and I won't be driving the car much at the winter, so there's no hurry. I think I'll change those at the same time while the fenders are replaced.

Good point Fuse, engine mounts are a bit of an issue - most long term owners are going to need them at some point, and they're not available anymore.

An easy upgrade for people doing engine swaps whilst the engine is out.

The sump guard sounds a good idea.

Our cars OEM, so probably wouldn't get one, but if I get my own car at sometime it sounds good. A lot of cars have the plastic guards broken, and even a thin aluminium one would be stronger than plastic. :)

A gearbox guard makes sense. I'm not sure how easy it will be to make but would be important on a rally car. I'll try and look over the weekend.

A good point Steve. I don't think the mount will be a direct swap as the top hole will need drilling out. The reason foir that is they will want to be fail safe as such.

The idea would be for a thin alloy splash pan as a direct replacment and also a heavy gauge guard for rally use.
