ok because i cant leave anything alone, im currently pulling my spare struts apart in order to uprate and modify them.
so far i have got as far as pulling them apart ready for overhauling, and istalled 63mm subaru studs into the hubs.
what i need to know is;
are there any uprated dampers to insert into the fronts, if so where? as i can go down the refill oil route if need be.
what other vehicle springs will fit the coilover conversion? at the moment im seeing ebay advertised mk1/2 escort coilover conversions (weld on tubes) so will probably go down this route with the springs.
alsohas anyone run any sort of excentric top mounts on a 300, as again im seeing escort ones advertised and was wondering how much work would be involved?
ive also sourced a pair of mazda four pots, and im getting a bit lost on disk size? im not sure what the mazda runs as standard (300mm?) im running 15" wheels so what i need to know is what other vehicles can i steal a set of vented 300mm disks from that would in theory bolt straight up?
ta
coilover construction.

Re: coilover construction.
Ok, after typing COILOVER into the forum search window, among other people, I see that Adam (340GLT) has done this.
So maybe a direct PM to him will answer the questions you have dude.
hunt through and theres pics
I cant be bothered to research the answers to your other questions, but if a search doesnt help in those cases, I hope someone with greater knowledge than me ( almost everyone ) will help you out.
Cant wait to see the pics of your finished project dude, its sounding really cool.
But i will repeat whats been said a lot before:
Theres a lot of info here if you search.
