Hi, what do you think about IPD performance camshaft? IPD recomending to change T marked camshaft on FT engines, but I have A marked camshaft on my B230ET. Would IPD camshaft give me some performance?

I also have an A cam from an 87 GLT that I was think of using in a project, its not considered very hot, but hotter than some. I think what you want is a VX cam.

There is some good information on either turbobricks or volvoforums.org.uk I remember seeing a table with all the cams in it, lift and dwell figures.

Here it is, standard and aftermarket tuning sources;

No point ordering a cam for the US. There cams tend to be very tame to our standards.

The A cam is quite good for stock turbo but for a bit extra the V cam from a volvo 2.3 injection engine works great as a hot cam in the turbo engines. Using a K cam (240 GLT) or H cam (very early 240 GLT) can also be used in turbo engines but you would not want any hotter than them for a road car.

When changing the cam to something hotter a vernier pully is realy needed to get the cam timed in just right for the engine.
