Hello

I now seem to be in the market to buy a 360 glt, can someone please give a heads up on common problems i should look out for and generally expensive problems i should also look out for.

Apart from general stuff, Id say inner arches, front and back jacking points, chassis rails unless your a fan of welding.
Rust is not your friend.

And its usually the only thing that kills them.

Nice one, Ive heard 240 were galvinised from new, were 300s? I enjoy welding but id rather not have a car full of welded patches

Don't think they were man. I know 700s are, and seem to stand up very well indeed compared to 300s.

V7/900 rust treatment is in a different league to that for V300s. As VND says - rust is your biggest worry, but not necessarily if you're able to weld?

There are many panels still available for 300s, at Hadrian's for example

I have one lined up that seems rust free, but if my only worry is rust for car of this age it doesnt seem bad atall. I'll have to watch for rust and assess it. I would of been suprised f 300s were given the same treatment as a 240. I would love a 240 but i dont think i could feul one lol!
