Bushes (no, not that kind Ben)

Post by L14MNP » 15 Feb 2011 06:26 pm

Obviously there are a few kinds of polybush available, but what about the ones not covered, anti-tramp bar, rear spring shackles etc.

Can you still get OEM or aftermarket? I guess the spring shackles seem OK, but the anti-tramp ones are just dust!

Nope, Dai has considered it but no progress so far AFIAK. I have approached some bush mfrs with the possibility of a group buy, but need to chase them, they don't seem that interested.

My anti tramp bushes are shot, think its pretty important to stop the camber turning into toe-in. Its really a radius arm. The spring shackles (body side rear of the leaf) seems pretty well protected, I took mine out and will be reusing. Just fitted my new poly set spring bushes after refurbing the springs.

Bad news. What are you planning for the anti-tramp bar then mate? I may see about getting some nylon and having a mate turn it. Unsure really.

If someone has a spare bar with bushes (even if buggered) I will get them made.

Anyone got one spare?

Got one. What's the address to send to mate?

More bushes would indeed be good!

Work is starting on rear engine mounts. Gearbox mounts I will need to look at in the near future - 340 and 360 ones are differnt so 2 types to deal with.

Also drive shaft boots and steering rack gaitors are on the way with work in progress.
