Balljoint help
Hey y'all, I'm pretty sure this is the correct shape but a little help identifying this would be great:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Volvo-340-343-345 ... 41535bd8bb
Is it the correct part?
Also, how would I go about removing the old ball joint? Is it a PITA or will a big hammer of truth do it?

Re: Balljoint help
Looks to me like the correct part. and yeah, a ball-joint separator of some description will do the job just fine.
should look like these:

which i think it does.
pretty crap picture tbh, try and ask if he can get a better pick to you.

Re: Balljoint help
they both are the correct items for the 300 series.
balljoint seperator isn't essential; big hammer also works

Re: Balljoint help
Cantilever ball joint splitter, all the other types are useless.

^ If you want to reuse stuff you remove they are def FTW.
As for changing them, the old wedge it in and fuck the boot fork job will do it.

Re: Balljoint help
The cantilever ones are easier too, but if you love hitting things with hammers the fork type take some beating (see what I did there?).

I hope you're deducting them from yourself. A fail pic that in itself is flawed. That's a massive fail, but not big enough to become a win.
Also, you could have edited it so it was more relevant to us. Albuquerque indeed.
