fitting front fogs

Post by redline » 12 May 2005 01:27 pm

If you want to fit front fogs or driving lights under the bumper I have found a really easy way of doing it that dos not involve drilling.
Remove the bumper bolt covers and then reach up under the bumper, there is a perfectly placed hole in the bumper mounting bracket ( the one shaped like a megaphone that bolts to the car and then the bumper bolts to it ) put the light bracket bolt through this hole and with a small socket set you should be able to tighten the fixing nut up through the bumper bolt cover, this sits the foglight just below the bumper and looks especially good if using rectangulsr lights , only down side is you have to cut the towing eye off.will try to get pics on later

I have also mounted my spots under the bumper (see pic)but removed a piece of plastic trim and found holes in the horizontal part of the front. valance. you can put bolts through from the oblong apartures at the back though you need to twist your arm a bit.

Does a 360 front panel fit straight on easily then?
Hwo much you reckon could pick one up for, or a set of 340 front fogs?

Cheers

Si

Not really it needs to be welded on but it ent too bad a job to do! If i was doin it i would buy new from volvo and get it painted as 9 times out of 10 one from a scrappy will be rotten!!!
