Custom air grabber

Post by Przemek » 15 Jul 2006 04:45 pm

I built it because when rains, water gets inside car through blower fan (at driver mat through foot ventilation). That's all
All stages of construction and final appearance shown at image :) (~1.3MB)
Totally cost: 4£

Very good. Certainly cheaper than buying an original snow cap :)

Good work indeed! I don't think I've seen anyone else attempt making a snow cap. It's turned out well. Had the UK members wishing to own snowcaps not managed to locate them thanks to our friends abroad and imported them, I think you'd have had an order for some! Intersting pics and well done.

Thanks :) But that's one and only prototype :) Why? Well, when I was in a half way doing this I saw some snow caps which prefectly (well, they need some work to join it with hood) fits for 3xx. And they are cheap too. They are an extra parts for Skoda Felicia (cat. no 323 - cca 11 or 14£ (for new type)) or Skoda Favorit (cat. no 157 - cca 10£). That are tunning ones, but I found on some Skodas also more 'discreet' in appearance (in fact similar to my).
That's how tunning one presents on car (in case instalment, we must remove original plastic and stick new one with glue):

You have some another alternatives now :D
