Manual (handbook) for Volvo360.

Post by remisa » 23 Aug 2004 08:23 pm

Hi, ive got really problem. My blinkers doesnt blink:-),they work only if I turn on the triangl (all blinkers on) button, but no just on left or right side. I hope its just fuse(safety catch) problem, but I dont know sense (point) of them. So I need a manual(handbook, reference book) for volvo 360. Do you have one?????? Please, write me as soon as you can. An if you have one in PDF (or something for PC) format, please send me it as soon as you can : remisa@seznam.cz . Thanks very much for any help.

sounds more like the switch itself is broken mate. i dont know how to fix it, but most stuff on a 300 is plug n play

I`d be inclined to check / replace the hazard lamp switch first.

On many cars the wiring for the indicators goes through this first, connecting both L&R circuits and turning them on. As it is rarely used, it is inclined to crud up over the years.

Pull it out and check for loose or burnt wiring and make sure all connections are clean. Might help to sit there for a while and turn it on and off or try some switch cleaner from an electronic store.

If that doesn`t help then check the switches on the steering column and bulbs etc. Its unlikely that these have failed on both sides together though.

Will

Mine did this once, managed to fix it within 5 mins of it starting! Check the earth going to the stalk switch, (if your's is a mk3 you do it thus....)

Pull the centres of the 4 fastners and unscrew the choke knob (if you have one). drop the cover over the ignition, remembering the light will still be attached. Find the brown wire going to the indicator stalk, make sure its on to start with, then wiggle it to get a good contact)

Hope you get it sorted
