Looking good... looking close at the bulkhead though... are you going to modify the air intake?

i will not have a heater box i will still have a heater but it will be on or off.
the inlet is close to the bulk head but there is still plenty of room to fit my induction system.
but i will keep you all posted.

Looks good.
I'd thought about doing this conversion a long time ago but the inlet manifold put me off. To keep the heater box it would need to be a nice pair of 48's
Great job mate

You can always get this kind of thing made
No need for carbs, you can use original ecu too as injectors will fit, possible to make so that tps fits if original ecu needs one, etc.
Can't be very hard to make either, that is basically four tubes with axle that contains throttle butterflies, but still they do ask insane prices from such things, ford version with single throttle butterfly (turbo things, some cosworth text printed to side) was something like 670$.

i have looked in to the bike throttle bodys but im thinking of a turbo as well . what do you think?

no turbo without changing compression ratio.
its a renault block, surely? came from a, 19 ? or megane already?

Very nice work

That is a handsome looking engine.
You can turbocharge without lowering the CR, but you need to run low boost, or significantly limit the advance. 740 Turbos ran higher compression than later 360s, and quite a few of the Tbricks guys in the US have added turbos to their 10.5:1 2.3s with careful tuning.
I'd not suggest changing to throttle bodies with the standard ECU - it'll probably run a mile lean. You might get away with it if it has a heated wire AMM.

Turbo would be ok on a std engine as long as you keep to low pressure. If not you will need to reduce the compresion ratio to run high pressure. You could do this by opening the head up a bit.
