Do you mean sending a downpipe to sweden? All help I can get is welcome. But first give me some pics from the engine bay need to know how tight it is.

Day or two? :D

Meaby it is easier if you search for a similar company in UK and ask if they are interested to make headers to Volvo 360?

I'm 99% sure it will need a break in the middle, or it will be impossible to install.

Ahh.. Mr. Kormu. :) THE Volvo guru.

Buy those headers  If they are made by Timo Kormu, those are TOP quality. ;)

Guy knows his business.. he's one of the most acknowledged Volvo builders in Sweden/Finland. He was building race engines out of Volvo redblocks when I wasn't even born... ~300hp out from a B20 in the 70's without turbos, nitrous etc... is quite a merit.. 8)

300bhp from a B20 is impresive. Tuners in the Uk seem to struggle getting 200bhp. Dont understand why that is.

Yeah 300hp from a naturally aspirated four cylinder pushrod engine is a damn good job even nowadays.. :P And when you are using the parts you made your self. :D

That ~300hp Amazon he built in the 70's was one of the first fast cars he built, it ran 11's in the 1/4 mile. Pretty impressive because I read that the B20 didn't even have roller rockers.. That Amazon got his him first clients and made him well known in the racing scene. :P

This might sound bit over glorifying, but this guy is almost a god in the Volvo and racing scene in here.

I've just had my manifold and downpipe off to weld it up. It had broken all the way round just after the 2 pipes become 1. Welding took 10 minutes, but the whole job overall was over an hour thanks to the lack of space in there. I can definitely confirm that RHD headers will have to be in 2 pieces, and even then it's a pain to get the lower '2 into 1' section up through the bottom of the engine bay. :?
I've been giving serious thought to making a tubular manifold to directly replace the upper cast iron section, but I decided the cash and effort could be better spent on an engine swap.

That's not a bad idea, since the stock downpipe is manageable, if not ideal. Produce a better designed manifold which mates to the stock DP. I like the idea.

I can't see you getting much benifit from making a replacment for the original manifold just to fit onto the same down pipe.
It's going to be very hard to make it balanced that way.
